Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
We collect information you give us directly — such as your name, email, phone number, business details, and the content you create in CrewKeel (jobs, estimates, invoices, messages, and documents). If you make or receive payments, our payment processors collect the details needed to process them; we do not store full card numbers.
We also collect information automatically when you use CrewKeel, such as device and browser information, IP address, and usage data (for example, which pages you visit and features you use). We collect this to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. How we use it
We use your information to provide and maintain CrewKeel, process transactions, match customers with contractors, send account and transactional messages, provide support, and keep the service safe and reliable.
We also use information to improve our features, understand how the product is used, and — where you have not opted out — send you relevant product updates. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing
We share information with service providers who help us run CrewKeel — for example, hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics — under agreements that limit how they may use it. When you transact on the marketplace, relevant details are shared between the contractor and customer involved so the work can be quoted, completed, and paid.
We may also share information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights and users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. In those cases we will act consistently with this policy.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you disable them.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain information after account closure where we have a legitimate business or legal reason — for example, to keep financial and tax records, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information directly in your account settings, or contact us to make a request. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
